Bridge to Brave
Confidence • Connection • Optimism • Proprioception

Description
A confidence-building movement game that helps your dog learn that moving close to and around you is safe, rewarding, and fun. Through quick turns and playful patterns, your dog builds bravery, trust, and body awareness - you become their bridge to safety and joy.
How to Play
Throw a treat a short distance for your dog to chase.
As they finish eating, mark their turn back toward you and toss a treat between your legs for them to run through (or simply past, if you prefer).
As they emerge on the other side, turn your body to face them and throw another treat out in the same direction.
Repeat the pattern: out → through → out → through. Keep the rhythm fun and predictable.
As your dog gains confidence, vary the distance or direction of the throw, always keeping movement safe and flowy.
Why it Matters
This playful game teaches your dog that your body and movement signal safety, not pressure. It strengthens confidence, body awareness, and optimism while deepening trust in you as their secure base.
Tips for Success
Always play on stable, non-slip surfaces.
Keep throws short to avoid over-arousal.
If you can’t bend easily, toss the treat between your feet or alongside you instead.
Finish with calm scattering or a rest in their Sanctuary space.
