Magic Hand
Focus • Engagement • Connection • Regulation

Description
A calm yet engaging focus game that teaches your dog to look to your hand for guidance. It strengthens connection, supports loose lead walking, and helps your dog tune in to you even in busy environments.
How to Play
Have several bite-sized treats ready. Hold your open hand slightly above your dog’s head, palm upwards.
When your dog looks at your hand, drop a treat through your fingers for them to catch or pick up calmly.
Hide your hand briefly, then present it again to keep interest and predictability balanced.
Practise short bursts, adding gentle turns or movement on a loose lead once your dog understands the pattern.
Gradually take the game into new environments so your hand becomes a reliable cue for connection and calm focus.
Why it Matters
Magic Hand helps your dog build confidence and attention without tension. Over time, your hand becomes a trusted signal — a calm, predictable invitation to connect. It turns environmental noise into a cue for focus, helping your dog feel anchored and safe beside you.
Tips for Success
Keep your hand movements soft and consistent.
If your dog can’t yet catch, let the treat fall to the ground.
Reward calm eye contact, not jumping or grabbing.
Play during walks to reinforce relaxed focus on the move.
