Discovery Call

The first step towards finding the right support for you and your dog

30 minvia Telephone

Service Description

Every behaviour journey with Wild K9s begins with a free Discovery Call. This is a relaxed 15–30 minute phone or Zoom call where you can tell me a little about your dog, the challenges you’re facing, and what you’re hoping to change. It also gives you the chance to ask questions about how I work and helps me make sure I’m the right person to support you. There’s no pressure and no obligation to book anything afterwards. The aim is simply to get a clearer picture of what’s going on and decide together what the most appropriate next step looks like. Why it matters Behaviour is rarely about one thing in isolation. Fear, frustration, arousal, learning history, environment, physical wellbeing and previous experiences can all influence how a dog behaves. The Discovery Call gives us an opportunity to talk through the bigger picture before you commit to behaviour support, so I can make sure the approach feels appropriate for both you and your dog. My work is welfare-led, force-free and grounded in behavioural science. I focus on understanding what behaviour is communicating, helping dogs feel safe enough to learn, and giving guardians practical, realistic support without judgement or overwhelm. What’s included • A relaxed 15–30 minute phone or Zoom call • Time to tell me about your dog and the challenges you’re experiencing • An opportunity to ask questions about my approach and how behaviour support works • Initial guidance on whether Wild K9s is the right fit for you • Clear next steps if you decide you’d like to work together What happens next If we both feel that behaviour support is the right next step, I’ll talk you through the process and arrange your Initial Behaviour Consultation. Your initial behaviour support is £350 and includes: • An in-depth 2-hour online behaviour consultation • A personalised Behaviour Plan • A Vet Report, with your consent • Two 1-hour follow-up sessions • Tailored resources and practical support to help you put the plan into practice From there, continued support can be shaped around your dog’s individual needs and progress. The Discovery Call is simply the starting point — a chance to talk things through, make sure the fit feels right, and work out the best way forward for you and your dog.
