A 2-hour online consultation to assess your dog and begin a tailored behaviour plan.

2 hr
Incl. in Programme
Online via Zoom

Service Description

The Initial Online Consultation is the first step in the Wild K9s Behaviour Support Programme. This in-depth session allows me to build a complete picture of your dog, their environment, and the challenges you’re facing so I can create a behaviour plan that is realistic, effective, and tailored to your family. What to expect Before we meet, you’ll complete two questionnaires and send short video clips of your dog in everyday life and any behaviour concerns. This preparation ensures we can use our consultation time effectively and that you’re already engaged in the process. During the consultation we will: • Review your dog’s history, environment, and daily routine • Explore the factors influencing their behaviour, including arousal, emotional state, learning history, and possible physical contributors • Identify the key struggles that need immediate attention • Begin introducing management strategies and training games you can start straight away This is not just a chat — it’s a structured session where you’ll leave with practical tools and a clear sense of direction. What’s included • 2-hour online consultation (Zoom) – calm and distraction-free for your dog • Tailored guidance during the session – management advice and foundation strategies • Personalised Behaviour Plan – delivered around 10 working days after our meeting • Vet Report – a summary sent to your veterinary surgeon (with your consent) so we can work collaboratively • Game Cards and downloadable e-books – practical resources to support the training games we introduce Why online? Starting online has several advantages: • Calmer for your dog – no pressure from a stranger entering the home during the initial assessment • More focused for you – we can explore the “why” behind behaviour without environmental distractions • Safer and clearer – I can review your home setup through video and plan practical next steps Next steps After the consultation I will complete your behavioural assessment and prepare your written behaviour plan. We will then continue working together through your follow-up consultations within the Behaviour Support Programme. Because every dog is different, ongoing support can be tailored to your dog’s needs as progress develops. 💡 This consultation cannot be booked on its own. It forms the first step of the Wild K9s Behaviour Support Programme.
