Initial Behaviour Consultation (Online)

Service Description

The Initial Online Consultation is the first step in your chosen programme. This in-depth session allows me to gather a complete picture of your dog, their environment, and the challenges you’re facing so I can create a behaviour plan that’s realistic, effective, and tailored to your family. What to expect Before we meet, you’ll complete two questionnaires and send me short video clips of your dog in everyday life and any behaviour concerns. This preparation ensures we can use our consultation time effectively and that you’re already engaged in the process. During the consultation we will: • Review your dog’s history, environment, and daily routine. • Explore the factors influencing their behaviour, such as arousal, emotions, learned history, and possible physical contributors. • Identify the key struggles that need immediate attention. • Begin introducing management strategies and training games you can use straight away. This is not just a chat – it’s a structured session where you’ll leave with practical tools and a clear sense of direction. What’s included • 2-hour online consultation (Zoom): calm and distraction-free for your dog. • Tailored guidance during the session: management advice and foundation strategies. • Personalised Behaviour Plan: sent around 10 working days after our meeting, outlining your tailored programme. • Vet Report: a summary sent to your vet (with your consent) so we’re working together. • Game Cards: practical, easy-to-follow resources for your starter training games. Starting online has many advantages: • Calmer for your dog: no stress from a stranger in the house during the initial assessment. • More focused for you: we can dive into the “why” behind behaviours without distractions. • Safer and clearer: I can still review your home setup via video and plan practical follow-ups effectively. Next steps After your consultation you’ll receive your written plan and vet report, and we’ll schedule your follow-up consultations depending on whether you’re on the Foundations or Thrive programme. 💡 This service cannot be booked on its own.
